Hi! I’m Charity and these are NOT MY BOOKS!  These are Jenny, Liz, Chantal, Ambar and Tamara’s children’s books!  I like to call these my book grandbabies. They are just a few of the children’s picture books I have helped bring into the world through my children’s picture book coaching and teaching.

Here’s a little secret, I am more proud of these books then even my own book babies, because it brings me delight and joy to help women overcome fear, insecurity and the craziness of their packed schedules to fulfill their life long dreams of writing and publishing their children’s book.

Does this sound like you? Jenny had a lifelong dream of publishing a children’s book but the publishing industry felt scary and unattainable to an outsider.  Now a Grandma, Jenny decided this was the time to leave a legacy of her beautiful story for her grandchildren. She took a course with me and this was her result.

Charity was instrumental in helping me achieve my twenty year dream of publishing my first children’s picture book. In addition to being an absolute joy to work with and a lovely person to get to know, Charity really knows her stuff! Charity is organized, thorough, and incredibly kind and helpful.

Jenny Harmon, author of Ladybug Wonder

As a busy Mom and business owner, Tamara wanted to skip the painful and long road of traditional publishing. I guided Tamara through the editing, fundraising and publishing process for her children’s book, which was in her hands in less than a year.

Tamara Menges, Author of “How do You Wish Jesus Happy Birthday” and founder of “Light Filled Home”

It has been such a joy to work with Charity! She has been such an encouragement and I value every minute of her expertise.

Maybe you relate? Are you a busy Mama wearing all the hats or a loving Grandma, teacher, children’s ministry leader or counselor who has a story idea in your heart that you know will not just connect with kids but empower parents to cuddle up with a great story written to encourage and equip the next generation?

As a Mama of 4, I understand what it feels like to try and write and publish a book with a bazillion distractions and responsibilities. I wish when I was self publishing my book I had a coach who could save me time and headaches just googling and guessing my way through it. That’s why I became a coach, to help you every step of the way from book idea to holding your book baby in your hand.

My experience working with around 100 writers through coaching and teaching is why experts in the writing world like Brian trust me to teach their writing communities.

Brian Dixon, CEO of Hope* Media

Charity’s passion and excellence in guiding writers was apparent during her time teaching for Hope*Writers.  She provides an encouraging and clear path for writers to achieve their dreams of self publishing their children’s picture books.

FAQ:

How often will we meet? That is entirely up to you. From time of purchase you have one year to use your coaching sessions. I typically recommend meeting once a month to stay on track for your project, however there is no rush if you need to take a break because you have a busier season.

How Many Coaching sessions will I need? I recommend purchasing the 3 or 6 session packages. Unless you already know a lot about the industry, we will need time together to get your manuscript polished, talk logistics, crowd funding, learn best practices, explore printing options and develop a launch and marketing plan for your book.

What if I just have an idea (and I don’t know if its any good?): This is the perfect time to start working with a coach. We’ll develop your story idea together, crafting a strong plot, characters and creating a compelling story that kids will love and parents will buy.

How will we meet? We will meet over Zoom

How long are coaching sessions? Coaching sessions are one hour.
